- Legally Binding Agreement: By accepting a quote with Suds Wash Co Limited, you are signing a legally binding contract for work to be completed at an agreed-upon price. In the event that you break this contract, a cancellation fee may apply and / or all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages.
- Product Warranties: All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Suds Wash Co Limited makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, Suds Wash Co Limited should be notified immediately.
- Water Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Suds Wash Co Limited the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
- Electrical Usage: By signing this agreement, you agree to provide Suds Wash Co Limited the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.
- Color and Tone Concerns: The properties and species of wood, age, and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the stain. Variances may occur on individual boards as well as the total project, as densities and other characteristics vary across the wood. Suds Wash Co Limited and its associates attempt to represent the final finish color and tones as best as possible, but some variance must be expected.
- Courtesy: While Suds Wash Co Limited is on location and performing work on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed for safety reasons.
- Payments: Payments to Suds Wash Co Limited are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by bank transfer, check, or cash. All balances are due within 7 days after completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon in writing on our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection costs incurred by Suds Wash Co Limited related to the collection of outstanding balances.
- Scheduling: Scheduling is affected by weather conditions. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however circumstances beyond our control may affect your project’s start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.
- Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents: Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the deck, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage, or storage issues. An additional charge may apply for time and labour devoted to this task.
- Damages: Suds Wash Co Limited is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles, broken or opened windows, defective construction, wood rot, improperly secured wires, loose gutters, or improper caulking. Power washing may highlight faded aspects of vinyl or aluminium siding. We will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during cleaning.
- Stains: Some stains cannot be removed by power washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, and splatters from paints and stains are examples. These will be pointed out when quoting where possible, but sometimes they cannot be removed at all.
- Watertight: Suds Wash Co Limited expects your property to be in good repair and watertight. This includes all electrical services, receptacles, light fixtures, doors, and windows. We are not responsible for damages resulting from poor or improper installation, maintenance, or repair of such items. We cannot guarantee removal of artillery fungus from exterior surfaces.
- Window Spotting: Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is not included in a standard house soft wash but can be provided as a separate service. Windows will only be rinsed as part of a standard house soft wash.
- Concrete: The appearance of cleaned concrete depends on conditions when it was poured and cured. Cleaning may reveal imperfections that were previously hidden by dirt, mildew, or stains. The customer understands that not all concrete will look the same, even on the same property.
- Roof: The condition of the roof prior to treatment affects how long moss or algae removal will take. This can range from 3–4 weeks to 6–12 months depending on severity.

Power Lines:
Due to NZ law and health & safety regulations, we cannot conduct work near power lines and may need to exclude areas with live power.
We will minimise the uncleaned area where possible.
If you are on tank water, tanks must remain disconnected for 3–4 weeks or until after 40mm of rain to prevent chemicals entering the tank. Disconnecting the tanks is the client’s responsibility, though we will assist where possible.
Suds Wash Co Limited accepts no responsibility for water entering the home due to a damaged roof, though we will attempt to spot such damage before starting.
